Families
Some communities group several accounts into a family: two spouses who own a home together, a parent and an adult child, adult and cargiver.
Families exist so that an admin looking at one household sees its records together rather than reassembling them from four accounts.
Who builds them
Admins do. You cannot create a family or add yourself to one. Only verified accounts can be grouped, since an unverified email address is not yet proof of anything.
Two separate switches
Grouping and sharing are not the same thing.
- The admin's family-wide switch. Off by default. While it is off, the family exists for the admin's view and members see nothing of each other.
- Your own opt-out. Yours alone. An admin cannot set it, cannot clear it, and cycling the family-wide switch does not reset it.
So you see another member's records only if the admin enabled sharing and you have not opted out.

Issues, payments, assignments, bookings, violations, resale orders, conversations and household entries.
If you cannot see it
Your community has families switched off, which is the default, or you are not in one.
