Community Board

Where residents talk to each other, as opposed to Announcements, where the board talks to you.

Posting

Write a post, optionally with photos. Posts carry your name: the board is not anonymous. Comment on anyone's post, and react to posts and comments with one of five reactions (like, love, haha, wow, sad). One reaction per person per item, and changing it replaces the old one.

Flagging

If a post or comment breaks your community's rules, flag it with an optional reason. Flagging is private: the author is not told who flagged them.

Flags collect into a moderation queue that community admins work through. They either remove the content or dismiss the flags. Removed content disappears for everyone.

Flagging something twice does nothing extra. The page says so rather than pretending to file a second report.

If you cannot see it

Your community has the board switched off. Some communities run announcements and messages without opening a discussion space, which is a legitimate choice rather than an oversight.
