CivicPort Forms
A separate app at forms.civicport.io for building fillable forms and collecting
submissions. Requires the Forms entitlement.
Community admins reach it from the Forms group in the CivicPort sidebar. It shares your CivicPort session, so the link signs you in.
What it is for
Anything you currently collect on paper or by email attachment: pool key requests, clubhouse reservation agreements, vehicle registration, ACH authorisation forms, architectural addenda, vendor onboarding.
Forms and links
Every form gets a unique link (forms.civicport.io/f/...). Publish it, email it,
or put it behind your own page.
A form can be public, meaning anyone with the link can fill it, or private, meaning only members of the workspace can.
Submissions
Submissions are encrypted, and fields you mark sensitive are masked in the console the way identity fields are elsewhere in CivicPort.
E-signatures
Forms can collect a legally binding electronic signature, and a PDF you upload can be sent for signature the same way a lease is. Signature sends are paid from the same credits wallet.
Workspaces
Every form, submission and balance belongs to a workspace, which is one of three things:

For a CivicPort community the workspace is the community, so your forms and your balance are the community's, not yours personally.
Teams
A team is the multi-person version of a personal workspace, for people using Forms without a CivicPort community.
It has an owner (one, transferable), admins who build forms and read submissions, and members who fill private forms. There are two join codes: a member code any admin can manage, and an admin code only the owner can see or rotate.
Because a join code is a bearer credential, teams can also invite named people by email. An invite is addressed to one address, good once, revocable until used, expires after 14 days, and is checked against the verified account claim rather than anything the browser sent, which is what makes a forwarded link worthless.
