Homes for Rent
Homes your community advertises publicly. Requires the Listings entitlement.
These are board-entered, not resident-submitted, so there is no submission queue and no moderation state. The only visibility control is the same publicly visible flag every other public content type uses.

Floor plans do the repetitive part
Link a home to a floor plan and every field you leave blank is filled from the plan when the listing is served. Nothing is copied, so editing the plan updates every home that left that field blank.

A home must be priced by something. Clearing a plan's rent while a home still relies on it is refused.
Pet fees
Per kind of pet: a label, how many of that kind are allowed, a one-time fee and a monthly fee.
These are per pet, not per lease. Three dogs at $150 each is $450 up front, and the monthly fee applies to each of them. There is also an overall cap across all kinds.
Publishing
A listing appears publicly only when both the site is published and the listing is marked publicly visible. Nothing leaks by default.
Each home shows its type, status, public flag and the plan it links to.
Listings-only mode
A community that already runs its own website can set its public site to listings-only mode. Then the CivicPort site is the rentals page and nothing else, which is exactly what you want to link to from an existing site.
