The queue of posts and comments residents have flagged.

The queue

Each entry groups every flag on one piece of content and shows the content preview, its author, how many people flagged it, when the first flag arrived, the reasons given, and whether the content is still live.

Grouping matters: five flags on one post is one decision, not five.

Two actions

Action	Effect
Remove	The content disappears for everyone. Flags resolve
Dismiss	The content stays. Flags resolve

Both resolve every flag in the group, so the queue never re-presents something you already decided.

Flagging is private

The author is not told who flagged them. Keep it that way in how you follow up, or the queue stops being used.

Practical advice

Decide your standard before you need it, publish it as an FAQ or in your rules, and apply it consistently. Moderation that residents can predict generates far fewer flags than moderation that surprises them.

A board that needs constant moderation is usually a symptom rather than a problem: check whether the underlying complaint has a channel, such as feedback or issues.
