Manage Announcements
One-way notices to the whole community.
Posting
Title, body and optional photos. Set an expiry on anything time-bound and it drops off on its own, which is the difference between a notice board and an archive nobody trusts.
Posting notifies members who have announcements switched on.
Two extra flags

| Priority | Holds the lobby screen: photo slides pause and only priority announcements rotate until they expire |
Priority requires publicly visible. Use it sparingly and always with an expiry. A priority announcement without one holds the lobby screen indefinitely.
Comments
Members can comment. Comments carry their name and notify the people following the announcement.
Who else can post
An ordinary member granted the Announcement Poster permission can post and manage announcements without being made a community admin. Useful for a social committee or a newsletter editor.
Choosing a channel
