What is CivicPort

CivicPort is the software a community runs on. One account gives a resident their dues, their amenity bookings, their ballots and their maintenance tickets. One console gives the board and the management company the other side of all of it, plus the books, the compliance record and a public website.

It serves four kinds of community, and the entity type decides which features are even offered:

Entity typeTypical use
HOASingle family or townhome associations with dues, covenants and a board
Apartment complexManaged rentals with leases, applications and unit turnover
Country clubMember dues, amenity reservations and events
MunicipalityResident issue reporting and work assignment for town staff

The three apps

CivicPort is one platform with three front doors. A community admin uses all three from the same sign-in.

AppAddressWho uses it
CivicPortcivicport.ioResidents and community admins. Everything in the resident guide and the admin guide.
CivicPort Formsforms.civicport.ioAdmins building fillable forms and collecting e-signed submissions. See Forms.
RFP Portaltcrfp.comContractors bidding on community work, and admins running the bids. See RFPs and bidding.

A community can also publish a public website on its own subdomain or a custom domain, and point a lobby TV at a digital signage screen.

There are mobile apps for iOS and Android covering the resident side.

Nothing is on by default

Almost every feature in this documentation is an entitlement that has to be switched on for your community. A page describing violations, resale certificates or voting is not describing something already in your sidebar.

If a feature described here is missing from your community, it is switched off, not broken. See feature toggles for the full list and who can turn each one on.
